Federico Torri is an Italian composer, orchestrator, and producer who splits his time between Los Angeles and Italy. From Hollywood blockbusters to Netflix hits, his work has graced productions with stars like Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Emile Hirsch, and Jacob Elordi. He’s picked up a few awards along the way, including Best Original Score at the Los Angeles Cinematography Awards and New York International Film Awards, a Student Academy Award, and has won a Telly Award for a commercial he scored for Heimat Films, a production company bridging Los Angeles and Bern, Switzerland, with which he regularly collaborates. In fact, in 2024, he was featured at the Tribeca Film Festival with a documentary he scored for them, La Roche. And let’s not forget his orchestration of the Apple TV+ series Palm Royale, which won an Emmy for Best Main Title Theme, earning Federico honors from the Television Academy.

But he’s not just a composer—he’s also a hands-on producer who loves to mangle acoustic and electronic instruments, creating a unique sonic experience. Alongside his film work, Federico writes, produces, and performs his own songs under the name MANIBIA, blending electronic, electropop, dream pop, and neo-classical styles. What does it sound like? It’s hard to tell, you’d better go listen! And if that’s not enough to get you moving, his track “Blurred Edges” has surpassed 100k streams and counting.

On the side, Federico also works as a producer for artists like N.I.K.O. (Vienna, Austria) and Mathias Coppens (Antwerp, Belgium), and his concert music has been performed by orchestras and ensembles around the world, such as Abu Dhabi’s NSO Symphony Orchestra, Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra, Pomeriggi Musicali and Florence Chamber Orchestra…to name just a few!

With a passion for storytelling and a love for blending genres, Federico is always on the lookout for the next project where music meets narrative in the most unexpected ways.
